Cabin Description:
Misty River is a 3-bedroom rustic river retreat. Located at the bend of the
Shenandoah River, the house has a beautiful two-mile view both up and down
river, and of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The glass-walled master bedroom has a
private half bath and deck. The house has 2 fireplaces (one in the screened in
river front porch along with the hot tub). Misty River has Direct TV with
premium movie and sports channels, major networks - YES, sports fans!), DVD
(bring your own or rent in town), local phone service, air conditioning,
electric heat, microwave and dishwasher, firewood, 2 person shower size. The
house sleeps 6 in three queen size beds in three bedrooms. Linens and firewood
are part of the rental.
Our guests may have the free use of a canoe, tubes and two bicycles on the
property. The Country Place has a partnership package with the Luray Caverns.
With rental, come special discounts for massage therapy. We have private trails
leading to logging trails in the National Forest for riding and hiking. Misty
River is a short walk to the entrance to Habron Gap Trail leading to the top of
Massanutten Mountain in the George Washington National Forest.

1st & 2nd nights are $290* per night, $235* for 3rd+ night/s (up to
4 guests);
Additional guests $30* per night.
Weekly rates $1700* (up to 4 guests). Weeks from Friday to Friday
or Sunday to Sunday.
Ask about last minute specials/ midweek Sunday -Thursday deals,
holidays excepted
Two-night minimum requested for all bookings.
One night rate quoted upon request when available.
Request 6 paying guests rate for 3 nights minimum over Holidays; 4
nights over Thanksgiving.
All regular / non-special rates are for up to 4 guests.
*Note: Virginia Retail Sales tax and Page County taxes are added to
tax-eligible guest bills.
